George V Dark Green Morocco Leather Lady's Vanity Case with Silver Fittings. The contents include a silver flat/vest pencil, vanity jar, two scent bottles, hair brush, clothes brush, button hook and pin cushion.
The silver fittings are hallmarked for London 1913 by Asprey & Co. Ltd.
In good overall condition. The case has moderate wear with higher wear on the edges. There is no key to the case. The handle is secure but I would not use it to carry the weight of the case. There is some loss of gilt to the silver fittings and some small dents to the hair brush, as well as a singed part of the bristles. There is no glass damage but the two scent bottle caps have high wear. One cap does not fully fasten shut on the bottle. The button hook, clothes brush and pencil are both in good condition.
Approximate total cased weight is 1.12 kilos.
Approximate dimensions are 21.5 cm length, 16 cm width and 12.5 cm with handle folded down.
