Georgian, George II, silver cream boat, on three hoof feet with acanthus capped scroll handle. Wavy rim and elongated spout, with the initials "T.I.R." to one side.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear and some clouding spots to the silver.
Hallmarked to the underside for London 1748. The maker's mark is listed by Grimwade as unregistered and seen in 1749.
Approximate weight is 116 grams or 3.72 troy ounces.
