Georgian, George III, silver tankard of plain tapering form with two bands of reeded detail. Free of any inscriptions or engravings. In excellent original condition.
Condition is excellent with light surface wear commensurate with age. The tankard holds approximately 525 ml when full to the brim.
Hallmarked for London 1816 by William Bateman I. Hallmarks are rubbed, but can just about be read. The first letter of the maker's mark is rubbed but the shape of the surround means it is definitely William Bateman.
Approximate weight is 332 grams or 10.6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 11.5 cm height, 11.5 cm length and 9 cm depth.
