Leuchars of Piccadilly (Acquired by Asprey) silver hip flask. Features a screw cap which is cork lined, engine turned detail and a vacant cartouche.
Condition is excellent with moderate surface wear commensurate with age and for engine turned detail. Hallmarks are very small and slightly rubbed. Some staining to the silver base, seen once the cup is removed.
Hallmarked to the body and cup for London 1866 by Thomas Johnson I. The cap appears to be unmarked. The Leuchars Piccadilly London retail stamp is on the underside of the cup.
Approximate weight is 205 grams or 6.5 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 13.5 cm height, 7.5 cm width and 3.8 cm depth.
