Initially raised in Beverley, the regiment was known as the Beverley Buffs. During the Napoleonic conflict\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e the regiment was based throughout England, including many coastal locations.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThree spoons are hallmarked for London 1804 by William Eley I and William Fearn.
