
Elkington Victorian silver plated soup tureen and cover dated 1888. The tureen and cover feature a crest of a bird with the motto "Esto Semper Fidelis" , which translates to "Be Ever Faithful". The tureen features a gadrooned border, reeded loop handles with leaf capping in the lower part and a leaf join at the body. The tureen is raised on an oval pedestal foot. The domed cover features gadrooned decoration with a leaf capped loop handle.
In excellent order with very light surface wear.
