Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Dish Ring. Pierced & embossed in the Rococo taste with birds, flowers and leafy C scrolls, circa 1775. Features a vacant cartouche and gadrooned borders.
In very good condition with some loss of silver coat. Rims ever so slightly misshapen.
Approximate weight is 557 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 25 cm diameter at widest point, 19.5 cm diameter at upper point to accomodate a dish and 10 cm height.
