Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Flagon, circa 1810. Of spreading cylindrical form with a skirted base. The hinged and domed cover with rolled over silver edges to the rim. The handle with shaped thumb piece and heart shaped terminal. A blank rubbed in silver rectangle to one side.
Marked to the underside of the base with the pineapple mark for Dan Holy, Parker & Co of Sheffield.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. A couple of light pressure marks towards the base. Small areas of light copper bleed.

Approximate dimensions are 31 cm height, 21 cm handle to spout length and 14 cm base diameter.
