Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Wine Ewer, circa 1790. Of vase form with beaded borders. The domed and hinged cover with crown finial. The body with the crest of a goat, possibly for the Goat or Goate family.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The item retains its original silver layer. A small hairline split at the top of the wooden handle.
Approximate weight is 734 grams.
