Georgian, George III, Pair of Silver, Gilt Lined Salts. Each salt is raised on three hoof feet and has a flared and crimped rim. The original owner's initials are to the underside.
Each salt is hallmarked for London 1764. The maker's mark is partly rubbed, but the first letter would appear to be A.
In excellent order, free of dents, splits and solder repairs. Light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight for the pair is 81 grams or 2.6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one are 7 cm diameter and 4 cm height.
