A George III silver salver, with no later chasing or inscriptions. Of shaped circular form, raised on three hoof feet, with a gadrooned rim.
Hallmarked for London 1772, by Richard Rugg. The makers mark is again struck by the rim.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. Heavier wear and light scratches to the underside.
Approximate dimensions are 25.5 cm diameter and 3.5 cm height.
Approximate weight is 608 grams or 19.5 troy ounces.
