Napoleon Bonaparte Bronze Relief Plaque. The plaque is signed by the French sculptor and medallist Maurice Delannoy (1885 - 1972). His work is based on the 1801 drawing by Jean-Baptiste Isabey (1767 - 1855), showing Napoleon outside the Palace of Malmaison. The portrait was drawn after the artist watched General Bonaparte pacing alone in the gardens.
Approximate dimensions are 10 cm length, 4.1 cm width and 0.5 cm depth.
Approximate weight is 149 grams.
In excellent condition with light surface wear. Small foundry marks to the underside.
