Silver Plated Inkstand in the Georgian Style, circa 1970's/80's. Of square form with a shell and gadrooned border. Raised on four shell and scroll bracket feet. Features a single central star cut glass inkwell with plated mounts.
In excellent order with light surface wear. No glass damage.
Marked to the underisde for Barker Ellis. Barker Brothers and Ellis & Co., both of Birmingham, merged in the late 1960's. The company went into administration in 1992.
