Victorian silver mounted leather aide memoire case with propelling pencil. The exterior is of a mid brown leather, contrasting with a soft tan leather and brown watermarked silk interior. The case features compartments for stamps and notes. In addition there is a brown watermarked silk notebook with some shopping lists written in it. The propelling pencil is in working order, but is not hallmarked.
Halllmarked to the clasp and mounts for London 1896 by Thomas De La Rue & Co.
In excellent order with no silver damage. There is wear to the leather consistent with age, but minimal fraying. The clasp is in good working order.
Approximate dimensions are 10 cm length, 7 cm width and 2 cm height.
