William IV period Old Sheffield Plate coffee pot, circa 1835. Of lobed and fluted form with a flower finial. Features a monogram of M to the body.
In very good condition with small amounts of copper bleed and some solder traces around the base of the spout. Moderate to high surface wear commensurate with age.
The underside of the base features the bell mark for Smith Sissons & Company of Sheffield.
Approximate weight is 830 grams.
