Large silver plated inkstand, in the Georgian manner, with twin inkwells, taperstick holder & snuffer. Of shaped rectangular form with a heavily cast border of scrolls and shells. Raised on four ornate and outswept bracket feet. There are two recesses for pens and the inkwell bottles are cut glass with star cut features.
In good order with no repairs, creases or dents. A few tiny flea bite chips to the corners of the glass bottles. One inkwell plated mount has a loss of silver plate.
Marked to the under side for NJ D EP (electro plate).
Approximate weight is 1.8 kilos.
Approximate dimensions are 32 cm length, 24.5 cm width and 9 cm height.
