Returns & Refund Policy
Our policy lasts 14 days from the date you receive the last item in your order, or 14 days from the date that it arrives at your chosen third party shipper's address, or 14 days from the day your courier or representative collects it from us.
You may also cancel before the order is fulfilled. Items can be returned for any reason.
Returns from third party shippers and couriers will only be accepted if the original package sent by us was not opened; this is because third party shippers often unpack items and group them together to make a smaller bundle for shipping.
Orders cancelled before fulfillment will be refunded in full, less any shipping costs already paid.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be returned in the same condition as it was when it was dispatched to you. It should be wrapped and packaged in an identical manner to how you received it. The shipping method should be fully tracked and the item should be insured for the full purchase value. If the item is lost, or damaged, in transit, then the refund is void and you must claim on your shipping insurance.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the refund is approved, then it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank/credit card account again.
There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Please bear in mind that when returning from abroad, taxes and duties may be levied by UK authorities. These charges would be deducted from any refund. Please mark the item as "UK ORIGIN - RETURNED GOODS", followed by their description. This should help to minimise any risk of taxes and duties being charged upon their return.
To return your product, please ship to our address shown on your invoice.
Where you choose to return an item that is not faulty, damaged and has been accurately described and photographed by us, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs, as well as those incurred in the purchase, even if free shipping was included. In these cases you will be refunded only the cost of the actual item, less shipping and the transaction fees imposed by PayPal or other provider.
Where you choose to cancel an order before it has been despatched then your refund will be less any shipping and insurance fees already paid as well as the non refundable transaction fee imposed on us.
If you purchase an item that is listed as for sale in the UK only and you require overseas shipping, then we will refund your money, less the transaction fee applied for that sale.
If the reason for a return is due to an error on our part, we will reimburse your original shipping paid at purchase and the return shipping. Our error would include sending you an item with damage/wear not described in our description/s or shown in photographs.
If the item is lost in transit to you, a full refund will be given, including all shipping costs. We will initiate this process one week after the expected delivery date, if there is no sign of the parcel being en route to you. Should the item subsequently be delivered then you would need to return either the refund, or the item.
If the item arrives with you and has been damaged during shipping then please return to us for a full refund, including your shipping costs incurred.
Please bear in mind that a lot of these items are over 200 years old and are not going to be in pristine condition. All items will have surface wear and signs of use. Antique silver will not resemble a brand new piece manufactured today. Items such as teapots and coffee pots will also have wear and discolouration to the interior which will be commensurate with age and use. Constant cleaning of the interiors will, in time, make your purchase more liable to develop leaks. A gentle rinse with warm soapy water is more than sufficient.
None of the items for sale on the website are suitable for use in dishwashers.
