A Uniface Cameograph Medal of Lord Faringdon from 1924, in white metal.

Alexander Henderson, 1st Baron Faringdon (1850 - 1934) was a railway financier, railway company chairman and major shareholder in the Manchester Ship Canal. He was also the Member of Parliament for West Staffordshire and St George's Hanover Square.

A Cameograph was made by projecting an object with a grid or beams of light to reproduce it; often of a face to model a portrait in relief. The use of a Cameograph was thought by its developers to aid in making a portrait more lifelike.

In excellent condition with moderate surface wear. The medallion can easily be removed from its card base and glass lunette cover. There is a suspension loop for hanging.

Approximate total cased weight is 125 grams.

Approximate dimensions of medal are 74 mm diameter.
