Edwardian Silver Box of Bombe Form. Detailed in the Georgian manner with ribbons and swags and raised on four bracket feet. The interior and base are wood lined.
The base with rubbed hallmarks for Birmingham 1908 by Henry Matthews.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. There is some clouding of the silver to the left side of the cover. Slight gap between the base and cover when in the closed position. There are a few light pressure marks and a crease to one corner to the right of the hallmark date letter.
Approximate total weight is 262 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 12 cm length, 9 cm width and 5 cm height.
