A George III Silver Brandy Saucepan. Of tapering form with a beak spout and turned wooden handle.
Hallamrked for London 1803 by John Emes.
Approximate weight is 330 grams or 10.6 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 25.5 cm length, 14 cm height and 9.5 cm top rim diameter.
The hallmarks with some wear but still legible. There is a little surface scratching and wear. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraved crest (Chaloner) which is only just visible. The wood handle is probably replaced and with some loss to the finish and some cracking underneath.
