Georgian, George III, Silver & Mother of Pearl Dessert Knives & Forks for Six. Housed in a wooden case with green interior.
Six knife blades and five fork stems are hallmarked for Sheffield 1816. One fork stem does not have the date letter but has the same duty mark of the head of King George III. There is no maker's mark on any piece.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age and use. The knife blades and fork stems are all held firmly in place and the items are ready to use. One knife handle has a repair to the mother of pearl and a silver bracket has been fitted. This is a good quality old repair and the handle can be used as normal.
Do not use in a dishwasher and only wash in lukewarm water.
