Georgian, George III, silver sauce boat. Features an acanthus capped flying scroll handle and raised on three hoof feet. There is a monogram to the underside of DHC.
Hallmarked for London 1763 by William Skeen.
Condition is good with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some clouding of the silver. The front foot has previously pushed into the front of the sauce boat, causing a split and this has been repaired with solder (last three photos).
Approximate weight is 194 grams or 6.2 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 15 cm length, 9 cm width and 10.5 cm height.
