HMS Britannia, A Pair of Twist Stem Candlesticks Made Using Timber From The Ship.

HMS Britannia Cadet Training Ship was moored in Dartmouth from 1869 - 1905. Launched in 1860 as a 121 Gun Line-Of-Battle Three Decker. The future king George V was a naval cadet on HMS Britannia. The ship was notorious for bullying and the future king was not spared. She started life in 1860 as  HMS Prince of Wales and renamed HMS Britannia in 1869.

In very good order, without losses or damage. Both stand straight.
