HMS Britannia, an Edwardian Chamberstick Made Using Copper from HMS Britannia, Cadet Training Ship. She was moored in Dartmouth from 1869 - 1905. Launched in 1860 as a 121 Gun Line-Of-Battle Three Decker. The future king George V was a naval cadet on HMS Britannia. The ship was notorious for bullying and the future king was not spared. She started life in 1860 as  HMS Prince of Wales and renamed HMS Britannia in 1869.

Of circular form with a pierced gallery border. Made in the Arts and Crafts taste with rivets visible.

In good condition with high surface wear and numerous light pressure marks to the base. One very small split in the base, as per the last photo.

Approximate weight is 509 grams.

Approximate dimensions are 18.5 cm diameter (23 cm including handle) and 6 cm height.
