Mid 18th Century Scandinavian, or German, Silver Rat Tail Tablespoon.

Maker's mark AE, town mark three stars, possibly Albertus Edden, Norden. The flat stem shaped top engraved with a flower. The reverse prick engraved with 'DHJ' over 'EK' over 'JB'.

Approximate weight is 42 grams or 1.35 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions are 22 cm length and 4.5 cm bowl width.

In good condition with age related wear and some thinning of the bowl tip.
