
Silver Plate on Copper Inkstand. With a loop carrying handle and gadrooned border. Features three associated cut glass bottles, two for ink and one for pounce. The ends of the inkstand have applied acanthus leaf and shell detail. The inkstand is raised on four ball feet and has a tinned underside. The inkstand dates to the late 19th, or early 20th centuries and the bottles are probably later.
In good order with light surface wear commensurate with age. The replacement glass bottles are in exellent order with only the occasional very minor nibble.
Approximate weight is 900 grams.
