William IV Crested Silver Box with Mythical Beast Feet. The base with scrolled foliage and the cover with lion crest and fluted detail. Gilding to the interior.
Hallmarked on the base for London 1831 by Archibald Douglas. The cover is part hallmarked with the maker's mark. Further marks on the cover have been lost in the fluted detail.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
