A pair of early 20th century compact opera glasses retailed by Asprey and manufactured by Busch Winett. Contained in original leather pouch, also stamped Asprey London. The glasses fold out and expand to allow viewing. Monogrammed to the cover for H.A.D.
The glasses appear to be in good working order with some losses to the black paintwork. The view from them appears to be fine. One lens has a mark on the inside of the glass at the widest end. The glasses require gentle easing to get out of the case as it is a tight fit.
Approximate closed dimensions in the case are 7.5 cm length, 5 cm width and 3 cm height.
