A Victorian silver double inkstand with hourglass profile and gadrooned pierced gallery. Features two diamond cut glass silver mounted glass bottles. The inkstand is raised on four bracket feet.
The inkstand, bottle holders and bottle mounts are all hallmarked for London 1892, by Rupert Favell. It was retailed by Houghton & Gunn of 162 New Bond Street, London, who later merged with Asprey.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate silver weight is 217 grams or 6.9 troy ounces.
