Georgian, George III, Silver Bread Basket. Of oval form with a reeded edge and pierced rim, detailed with bright cut foliate engraved bands. The sides with four pierced and bright cut star shaped panels. The field with a wreath style bright cut engraved crested cartouche. The swing handle with reeded detail. Raised on a reeded oval foot. The handle features the crest of a bird.
Hallmarked to the body for London 1795 by Crispin Fuller. Further part hallmarked as silver by Crispin Fuller to the handle.
In outstanding condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight is 789 grams or 25.3 troy ounces.
