An outstanding pair of William IV/ Early Victorian period Sheffield Plate twin branch three light candelabra, circa 1830 - 1850. Each candelabra features a detachable central flame finial. The upper sections can be completely removed, converting them into a pair of single candlesticks. Features foliate and scroll decorated stem discoid knops, bases, shoulders and nozzles. The nozzles are detachable. The theme of this decoration continues onto the reeded branches. The undersides are covered in green baize.

In excellent order with areas of warm copper bleed. The shoulder of one of the pair has had a solder repair to a split and the last photo shows this. This split was on the candlestick section (the supporting coloumn). Both stand perfectly straight and all would appear to be original. Light surface wear commensurate with age.

Approximate weight for the pair is 5.6 kilos.

Approximate dimensions (fully assembled) are 49 cm heigth and 37.5 cm width.
