A Late 19th Century French Gilt Brass and Enamel Domed Casket. Raised on Four Feet in the form of Winged Mythical Beasts. The Sides with Six Ornate Enamelled Arch Panels between Stylised Gothic Columns. The Domed Cover with Fleur de Lys Ornamentation and Two Bud Finials. Circa 1870 - 1900. Fitted red cloth interior and working lock and key.

In very good condition with moderate surface wear and some wear to the gilding. Two enamel plaques with one brass screw missing. The plaques are secure but slight movement if pushed. Higher wear to the underside of the base.

Approximate weight is 2.6 kilos.

Approximate dimensions are 22 cm length, 15 cm width and 21 cm height.
