George V silver cigarette box with cedar wood interior. Purportedly from Hatton Castle, Aberdeenshire, seat of the Duff family. Free of any later engravings or inscriptions.
In good order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. There are light surface pressure marks but no dents or creases. The cover does not close fully flush with the box, as there is a tiny gap to the right side.
Hallmarked to the box and cover for London 1924 by Asprey & Co. Ltd. Features the Asprey London retail stamp.
