Late Victorian Silver Plated Christening Mug Detailed with Putti, circa 1870 - 1900. The handle is leaf capped and with leaf terminals. The mug with ornate engraved bands and beaded detail to the base. The engraved putti detail is of very good quality with little wear.
In excellent condition with very light surface wear. The base rim ever so slightly misshapen. Small scratched area to the underside of the base where it has been tesetd for silver (not by me!).
Approximate weight is 181 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 8 cm height and 20.5 cm length.
Approximate capacity is 200 ml.
