Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate Lion Mask Sauce Tureens & Covers, circa 1810. Of rounded rectangular form with gadrooned detail to the borders. Twin lion mask drop ring handles. The pull off cover with domed and fluted upper portion. Raised on four legs with paw feet. Features rolled over silver edges.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. The pair have not been replated and the layers of silver are in excellent order. Free of dents, creases and repairs.
