Victorian Silver Plated Soup Tureen. Of oval form with a foliate and scroll cast border in the gothic manner. The cover with a lion and tower finial. The pedestal base with four outswept and ornate scrolled bracket feet. The cover and base with identical armorials.
Marked to the underside for Elkington, Mason & Co. 1853.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Higher wear to the interior of the tureen.
