Georgian, George III, Crested Silver Dessert Knives & Forks for Twelve Persons. The filled handles are all part reeded and feature the crest of a goat emerging from a coronet.

All of the handles, knife blades and six fork tines are hallmarked for London, either 1799 or 1801 by Moses Brent. Six of the fork tines are unmarked but would appear to be silver, rather than steel or fused plate.

In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age and for their use as dining cutlery. All of the handles are held firmly in position and are free of dents and splits. There will be the occasional surface pressure marks, but nothing that warrants any restoration. The blades and tines are all in very good order.

Approximate total weight is 1.343 kilos, including the filled handles and six unmarked fork tines.

Approximate knife dimensions are 22 cm length and 1.6 cm blade width.

Approximate fork dimensions are 18.5 cm length and 1.8 cm tine width.
