Georgian, George III, Old Sheffield Plate & Green Stained Ivory Dessert Knives & Forks for six perosns, circa 1790 - 1810. The steel blades and tines are covered or fused with a thin layer of silver.
Unable to post this abroad, due to the ivory content.
In good order with wear to the silver sheet on the knife blades. All tines and blades are firmly fixed into the handles.Splits to the ivory handles.
Approximate total weight is 393 grams.
Approximate knife dimensions are 20 cm length and 1.6 cm blade width.
Approximate fork dimensions are 18 cm length and 1.8 cm tine width.
