Georgian, George III, oak cased silver & mother of pearl dessert cutlery for six persons.
The knife blades are all hallmarked for Sheffield 1812 with an identical monogram. Five blades are hallmarked by J. Rogers (possibly Joseph Rodgers) and the other is hallmarked by John Law. It would appear that these are all original, as they share the same date letter and identical monogram. The forks are hallmarked with the lion passant and duty mark of King George's head. It is quite common for fork stems to be only part hallmarked. One fork bears the maker's mark of John Law.
The silver and mother of pearl are in excellent order with light surface wear, commensurate with age. Some minor blade wear. The oak case is also in excellent order.

Approximate knife dimensions are 19 cm length and 1.6 cm blade width.
