Victorian oak cased set of silver dessert knives and forks for six persons. Each knife blade and base of the fork tine is identically monogrammed.
In very good order with only very light surface wear to the blades and handles. Four of the fork handles and one knife handle have minor splits, as shown in the last two photos. These splits do not affect use. All handles are firmly secured.
Not suitable for dishwasher use, only wash in lukewearm water.
Each knife blade and base of the fork tine is hallmarked for Birmingham 1871 by Hilliard & Thomason. The handles are not hallmarked.
Approximate total weight of the fitted case and cutlery is 1.313 kilos.
Approximate case dimensions are 31.5 cm length, 25 cm width and 5 cm height.
Approximate length of one knife is 21 cm.
Approximate length of one fork is 17 cm.
