Georgian, George II, silver coffee pot of plain tapering cylindrical form. Featuring a domed and hinged cover with turned finial and a moulded spout with scroll detail. Features the initials STM to the underside of the base.
In excellent original condition with moderate surface wear. Slightly misshapen base rim and traces of solder.
Rubbed hallmarks to the body for London by Peter Archambo II & Peter Meure. The rubbed date letter is either 1750, 1752 or 1753. Further hallmarked to the inner lid rim with the maker's mark and lion passant.
Approximate weight is 646 grams or 20.7 troy ounces.
