Georgian, George III, Silver Hot Water Jug. Of plain baluster form with a rattan covered handle.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1761 by Augustin Le Sage. Further part hallmarked to the cover rim with the lion passant.
In excellent original condition with no later engraving or erasure. Light surface wear commensurate with age. Finial slightly to one side.
Approximate weight is 538 grams or 17.2 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 23.5 cm height and 13 cm handle to spout length.
