Georgian, George III, silver hot water jug of plain baluster form. Crested and with a hardwood handle. The domed cover is beaded with an acorn style finial and the jug sits on a spreading circular foot.
Hallmarked to the underside for London 1776 by Augustin Le Sage and on the cover rim by the maker and the lion passant.
Condition is excellent, with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight is 641 grams, or 20.6 troy ounces.
