Georgian, George II, small silver coffee pot of tapering cylindrical form with a faded armorial to one side "DEUS PASCIT CORVOS - GOD FEEDS THE RAVENS". Features a fruitwood handle and ogee cover with turned finial on a circular foot.

The arms commemorate the marriage of John Corbet, of Sundorne Castle, near Shrewsbury & Barbara Mytton.  The Corbets came to England with William the Conqueror in 1066. A heraldry report accompanies this item.

Faded hallmarks to the body for London 1752 or 53.  The silversmith's mark can only be read as first initial J.

In excellent condition with just minor surface wear. The handle and lid are both secure and no dents or splits.

Approximate dimensions are 18 cm height, 16 cm handle to spout length and 7.5 cm base diameter.
