Georgian, George II, pair of silver sauce boats. Of oval, bellied lobed form, with leaf capped scroll handles and raised upon three leaf capped pad feet. Monogrammed to the underside with the letters W.B.
Condition for both is good with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. There are some areas of firescale, making the silver a little cloudy.
Each is hallmarked for London 1741 by John Pollock. The hallmarks are a little rubbed, but legible.
Approximate weight for the pair is 840 grams or 27 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one are 19.5 cm length, 11 cm width and 10 cm height.
