Georgian, George II, Silver Brandy Pan. Of pear shaped form with a beak spout and faded crest of a dragon, or griffin. Fitted with a turned wooden handle.
The hallmarks, to the underside of the base, are all rubbed and cannot be read. The only mark which can partially be seen is that of the leopard's head for London. This pan is early George II and dates to around 1730.
In excellent condition with very light surface wear commensurate with age. Free of dents, creases, solder and splits.
Approximate total weight is 250 grams or 8 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions are 20 cm length, 14.5 cm height and 10 cm depth.
