Georgian, George II, silver coffee pot of straight tapered form with an acorn finial to the ogee domed cover. Features a wooden scroll handle, a moulded foot and a monogram to the body.
Condition is excellent with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Hallmarked for London 1736 by Dike Impey. The hallmarks to the body are rubbed but you can read the year letter, the crowned leopard's head and the first letter of the maker's mark. The maker's mark and the lion passant are present to the inside of the cover.
Approximate weight is 498 grams or 16 troy ounces.
