Georgian, George II, Set of Six Hanoverian Silver Tablespoons. Each reverse crested with a stag and bottom struck hallmarks.

The spoons are hallmarked for London 1738 by John Gorham. Some of the marks are quite rubbed, or partial and a bit distorted, as is often the case for bottom struck marks. All of the hallmarks have been photographed.

In fair condition with some heat hazing marks and moderate surface wear commensurate with age. There have been repairs to three stems, but these are now sound. The spoons are in good usable order, but can be flash plated if desired.

Approximate weight of all six spoons is 347 grams or 11.1 troy ounces.

Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 20 cm length and 4.3 cm bowl width.
