Georgian, George III, Set of Four Silver Salt Frames with Blue Glass Liners. The four salt frames with pierced and bright cut detail. Of navette form, raised on four outswept bracket feet.
Each salt is hallmarked for London 1789 by Henry Chawner. The maker's mark on one salt is not visible.
In very good condition with no glass damage. The blue glass liners are not all quite identical. Visible seams on the salt frames and two small splits to the underside of one frame. The salts are free of any dents and creases and display well.
Approximate silver weight of all four salt frames is 166 grams or 5.3 troy ounces.
