Georgian, George III, Silver Basting Spoon. Of Old English pattern with no monogram, initials or crest.
Rubbed hallmarks with only the maker's mark of William Sumner & Richard Crossley and part of the lion passant visible. They worked together, in London, from 1775 until 1782.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight is 93 grams or 2.99 troy ounces.
